Notes: This beautiful book is designed to hang on the wall by its tasseled cord. Cover by illustrator Carrie Dudley depicts a lady in a black lace mantilla, fanning herself while being serenaded by a Spanish swain. Printing is embellished with gilt ink. Inside, recipes are arranged by month and interspersed with lessons like "Seductive Sweet Sauces." 58 pp. Undated, but inscription on inside back cover is dated Jan., 1929. Blue pictorial wraps are lightly soiled and chipped, bottom right corner of cover has soft crease. Pages show some toning, are clean and solid. Tassels and cord are a little faded and soiled. Cover illustration is clear and vivid.
