Notes: This Fire Prevention Report was submitted as an entry in the National Fire Prevention Week Contest for 1956. It also serves as year book of the 13th Naval District, Rear Admiral A. M. Bledsoe, U. S. N. Commandant, inscribed and singed by Admiral Bledsoe. This year book gives detailed accounts of programs, training, activities, and publicity that occurred during the year, profusely illustrated with B/W photographs. Typed text, leather chapter separators, and expertly carved wood boards with leather front hinge and metal back hinges, pages are bound with two large bolts and nuts. A beautiful work of art. A few pages have very light smudges.
